7 pairs of mittens fnished
...just the thumbs needed on pair 8. It has been so much fun knitting 8 pairs of mittens. I intend to knit 4 more pairs but they will be for my granddaughter and her 2 sisters and soon to be brother.
What a lovely gift...is that mitten on your sidebar one of the ones you have created.
My grandma taught my mom to make mittens when she was a wee lass. There were 7 kids and they were poor...my mom has kept us in mittens since we've had kids old enought to wear them.
Funny, she never taught me to make them...though now I am attempting my first pair of sock on double pointed needles. I have two going and I am on the heel with both.
